About Me.
I received my bachelor’s from Arizona State University in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Media Analysis and Visual Communication Design.
Destiny must have had a plan for me as much of my life experiences seemed to always put me in the intersection of art and people. It all began when I stumbled upon my grandfather's collection of space memorabilia, sparking a deep fascination within me. For much of my life, I had dreamed of being an astronaut, but when I failed out of my Biology major in college (no one is perfect), I was left defeated.
Even at a very young age, I had a deep sense of empathy for the underdogs of society - for which I always felt was a reflection of me. When I had felt the failure of my dream, I reverted to the only other thing that I thought I could do. I eventually landed a graphic design job that allowed me to explore accessible design and delve into user experience methodologies. It was in this role that I fell head over heels in love with my craft and found a passion that rivaled my defeated dream: people.
The ability to create designs that were not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and inclusive became my driving force. I found myself right where I belonged, and I simply couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
